Work starts on the new Shoreham footbridge

Work is finally underway on the new footbridge. By Thursday, the carpark on Riveside Road is closed, as is most of Lower Beach Road. Instead, there’s a new path through the car park:

On the other side of the car park, the base of the new Adur footbridge is taking form, as rocks reach out into the river:
